What is Intense Pilates?



Intense Pilates is a fitness regimen developed by Damian Blow over the past several years. It focuses on small individualized clases allowing the instructor to work with and keep track of your progress. This way you are able to get the result you are looking for, much faster than other pilates classes. Intense Pilates will create a program specifically designed to improve your fitness and health.






Intense Pilates is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All Intense Pilates workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

Prior to teaching Pilates for 7 years. I spent a year learning about Pilates, and the culture of Pilates before I ever taught a class. Based on my prior observation I learned one important thing - "You better be good"!!! If you aren't you won't last in this business. With that knowledge I sought out to be the best Pilates instructor in Houston.

If clientele consistency, and the way my clients look will tell you just how good I am, then I am the best! I won't waste your time, please don't waste mine, I could talk about accolades, attaboys, embelishments, fabrications, and exaggerations like the rest of them, but I'm not and I won't. I'm gonna push you, but push you at your level. I'm honest about what you can achieve here, if you're honest about putting in the work, dedication, and discipline here, and outside  of here to make that change, maintain, or enhance yourself! Brandi Bell has been a fitness instructor for 9 years. She became a fitness enthusiast in 2006 after her son was born, and became an instructor a year later. Brandi is a silly instructor who will not only give you a great workout, but will make you laugh in the process.
